THE FINAL STAGE TOMORROW LIVE IN STREAMING ON CIKFIACHAMPIONSHIP.COM AND CIKFIA.TV.

THE BATTLE FOR THE WORLD TITLE ON VIDEO FROM KRISTIANSTAD.
Kart racing confirms to be a top attraction for all the motorsport fans. In Kristianstad (Sweden), the Asum Ring is hosting an event which, once again, proves how challenging this discipline is. Drivers coming from 42 countries and from 5 continents reached the Scandia County to take part in the CIK-FIA World Championship for the KZ category. Same consideration for the CIK-FIA International KZ2 Super Cup, a single-round event, and the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, which is at its third and last round in Kristianstad. The Qualifying Heats were crucial for the starting grids of the Prefinals, on schedule tomorrow morning, while the Finals will be run in the afternoon. Tomorrow’s races will be broadcast live in streaming on cikfia.tv and cikfiachampionship.com. Broadcasting will start at 10.15am with the Drivers’ Parade. Then, during next week, don’t miss the special TV report with the recap of the whole weekend on Motors TV.

PAOLO DE CONTO’S BID FOR THE KZ WORLD TITLE.
He set the best time in Qualifying, then he won today’s two Heats: Paolo De Conto (CRG-TM-Vega) is definitely the frontrunner in this KZ World Championship, which he missed by a hair’s breadth last year in Le Mans (F). The Italian driver is now leading the pack of the 33 drivers taking part in the Championship; his closest pursuer is Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex), the multiple-winner Italian driver. Thanks to his results, the driver from Brescia recovered from the sixth place he achieved yesterday in Qualifying and in tomorrow’s Prefinal he will start next to the pole-sitter De Conto. Excellent performance also for the Italian Lorenzo Camplese (Parolin-TM), who will start from the third slot, right next to a top driver such as the Dutch Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM), another driver who can definitely aim at the title. The Dutch Jorrit Pex (CRG-Vortex), the reigning World Champion, is a bit behind and will start from the third row, from the sixth slot, right behind the strong British driver Ben Hanley (Croc-TM).

PEDRO HILTBAND AIMS AT THE KZ2 TOO.
He has recently won the OK title: Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Maxter-Vega) now aims decidedly at the International KZ2 Super Cup. He set the best time in Qualifying then, in the Heats, he achieved an impressive winning streak. He will be the pole-sitter of the Prefinal 1, with the Italian Matteo Viganò (Top Kart-TM), in top shape after his victory in the last round of the KZ2 European Championship in Genk, filling the second slot. In Prefinal 2, the pole-position went to the Italian Tommaso Mosca (Maranello-TM), who won several Heats too. Next to him, the Italian from Naples Felice Tiene (CRG-TM), who proved to be at least as strong as the new KZ2 European Champion: the Italian Fabian Federer (CRG-Modena), who will start from the second row.

ALFRED NILSSON IN POLE IN THE ACADEMY.
Great performance for the Swedish Alfred Nilsson, who will be the pole-sitter in the Prefinal of the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy. Nilsson set the fastest time in yesterday’s Qualifying and, today, he won in both the Heats he took part in. Next to him, the second slot will be filled by the Dutch Kas Haverkort, winner in the other Heat. Third row for the current leader, the British Callum Bradshaw, who managed to close the gap after the troubles he had in Qualifying (all the drivers on Exprit-Vortex-Vega).
